Overall, a lovely hotel but BEWARE OF dishonest housekeeping staff

I was going to give this hotel 5 stars for the value, location, tropical ambiance, and on-site facilities. However, guests need to be aware of dishonest cleaning staff (at least for our room- #3209. Upon arriving at the airport both of my kids noticed they each had 1000 baht missing from their wallets (approximately $30 U.S dollars which is a lot to them). They had left their wallets sitting out in the room and we forgot to remind them to put them in the safe, so we do take responsibility for that. (My husband and I stayed in the connecting room next door and used the safe so we had no issues) We believe the theft took place while we were out on an all-day excursion on Thursday, April 18th, a day before we left. We did find it odd that the cleaning staff did not make eye contact with us when we tried to say bye and thanks to them when leaving. Usually the room attendants at the hotels we've stayed at in Thailand are really friendly and we say bye to them when we leave. (We were at the hotel for 4 nights). I called the hotel from the airport to ask to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was busy and would call me back. It has been one week and I still have not received a call or follow up from the hotel manager. Also, on a similar note, when we were having issues with a room service order (mixed up order and then a delayed order) I called the restaurant around 8pm after waiting 2+ hours for the food and was told the manager had gone home. So I am lowering the star rating due to dishonest housekeeping staff and how challenging it is to get in touch with a manager whether at night or during the day. I'm not sure if the managers actually weren't around or if the staff didn't want to relay the messages and the managers never received it. That's why I'm writing the review here. Also, I wanted to warn other guests- if you stay here, remind your kids to use their safe.

This is the ideal place to stay for a balance of quiet and activity for families. The location is just off the main road and also just a 7 min walk to the beach through a side/back road. Unfortunately there isn't a view of the ocean from the rooms but I really enjoyed the sight of the nearby limestone mountain. The breakfast is excellent and stays open until 11:00 which was perfect for those in my family who like to sleep in (and get their beauty rest). There is also a 7-11 right across the street and a grocery store with good prices about a 2-3 minute walk. The staff are very kind and attentive (which you'll find pretty much anywhere in Thailand) and the facilities and clean and up-to-date. The pool is a good size with plenty of chairs, the fitness room is decent and is open 24 hours, and the Spa is moderately-priced with experienced and skilled staff. We haven't tried the on-site Japanese restaurant yet but are just about to. My wife especially liked the light wood color scheme everywhere and our children already want to come back!!

Wonderful hotel, rooms are fantastic, modern and a good size. I was allocated a top floor pool view room, stunning views of the hotel and cliffs. The location of the hotel is perfect, on a quiet side road off the main strip and 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection of cereals and hot foods and a good coffee machine. I made use of the gym and found it very good for hotel standards, modern, well maintained, decent sized room and just enough equipment to do a decent workout. Well done to the Sea Seeker team. As an Ao Nang regular, i certainly would not hesitate to book a room at the Sea Seeker.

Amazing hotel! Make sure you do as many spa services at the resort, great service. I highly recommend Bee Bee she was great at helping with certain pain points, was very good and offered some advice on self care. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

I had a wonderful four-day stay at Sea Seeker. The overall experience, from check-in to check-out, was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, just as depicted in the photos. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find that the hotel had three to four food options designed specifically for our dietary needs, particularly Indian cuisine like Poha, Rajma, Chole, and Chawal. There are also many excellent Indian restaurants nearby with delicious food. The pool area was well-maintained and enjoyable, and the hotel's location near Ao Nang Beach was convenient. The kids' play area had an attendant on duty until the evening, which was appreciated. The staff was very accommodating, and our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend Sea Seeker to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
